What's the difference between FBA and FBM?
FBA is Fulfilment by Amazon and FBM is Fulfilment by Merchant. With FBA, Amazon handles the entire fulfilment process for you. With FBM, the merchant (you) is responsible for storing, packaging, shipping and delivering products to customers.
Are all major orders fulfilled by Amazon?
No, Amazon is not responsible for the fulfilment of all Prime orders.
For items that don't suit Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA), such as those that don't sell quickly or those where demand is difficult to predict, there is FBA and Seller Fulfilled Prime or SFP. This is a programme that is available to Amazon Prime members, allowing them to ship orders directly from their warehouse.

What is Fulfilment by Amazon’s excess inventory management?
The Manage excess inventory tool from FBA helps you track listings that have excess inventory and provides you with information to take appropriate action, as well as suggestions for improving inventory performance. It helps you assess product demand and cost, seller contributions and price elasticity, in addition to identifying problems that may be affecting your product sales and offering you options for selling your inventory.
What is the FBA direct sell-through rate?
The FBA sell-through rate is the number of units sold and delivered in the last 90 days divided by the average number of units in stock. The average number of units in stock is obtained by taking snapshots of inventory levels on the specific day in question, as well as 30, 60 and 90 days earlier.
The inventory report section in Seller Central offers you recommendations for improving your sell-through rate.

What is FBA's abandoned inventory percentage?
An ad can be inactive if it wasn't created correctly in the first place or if it's blocked. If this happens, the product starts to accrue the storage fee cost, but it's not available for sale because the ad isn't active.
Your performance is measured by the percentage of your FBA inventory units that cannot be purchased on Amazon at this time. This is called "stranded inventory percentage".
The other metric you should consider is the number of inactive units, which indicates the total number of units without an active offer, and the Fix ads button, which lists the SKU units without an active offer. This can be sorted through Fix stranded inventory.

What is Fulfilment by Amazon's in-stock rate?
The inventory index tracks the degree of success in maintaining stocks of the most popular products.
This represents only FBA products that have had sales in the past 60 days. It doesn't take into account unsold items or products that the seller is responsible for fulfilling (that is, the products that you store, package and ship).
In Seller Central, this metric is displayed in the inventory panel and is updated daily. A good inventory percentage is considered to be between 90–100%.
