What happens once my FBA shipment arrives at the Amazon Fulfilment Centre?
Once your products are shipped to the FC, you can track their progress on the Shipping Queue page under the Shipments tab. The shipping statuses are:
• Checked-in: your shipment has been delivered to the fulfilment centre but has not yet been registered.
• Registered: your shipment has been moved from the facility yard to the dock door and is ready to be unloaded.
• Receiving: scanning of the shipment's units and identification labels is in progress and it will be available for
sale once it has been processed.
• Closed: all shipment units are successfully received. If your products were in transit to a fulfilment centre before the shipment was closed, your shipment will still be received. However, do not ship inventory from a closed shipment, as this could result in overuse charges and the inventory not being received correctly by the fulfilment centre.

Does Amazon fulfil all Prime orders?
No, Amazon can't fulfil all Prime orders.
For products that don't work well with Amazon FBA, like those that don't sell quickly or where demand is difficult to predict, there is Seller Fulfilled Prime. This is a programme that is available to Amazon Prime members, allowing them to ship orders directly from their warehouse or storage location.

How does Amazon handle returns, refunds and customer service for my FBA orders?
With FBA, Amazon offers customer service and manages the returns of all your FBA orders on your behalf.
Returns: when a customer returns a product and it is sent back to a fulfilment centre, the condition of each product is evaluated to determine if it is suitable for sale or not. If it is suitable for sale, it will be returned to your inventory and will once again be available for purchase. If it is not suitable for sale, we'll evaluate who caused the damage and determine if you qualify for a refund.
Refunds: a refund is a credit to the customer for all or part of the cost of a purchased product. In some cases, customers receive a "non-returnable refund", which means that the customer is not obliged to return the product to the fulfilment centre, but will still benefit from the credit. Some products that aren't eligible for return may be eligible for a refund.

How does Pan-European FBA work?
Once you have shipped your products to an EU fulfilment centre, we will store your inventory in our fulfilment centres within the EU countries that you have enabled for this purpose in order to meet anticipated customer demand. How does Remote Fulfilment work between the UK and the EU?
This programme allows FBA sellers with an EU account to store their inventory in local fulfilment centres and manage orders from other EU stores, maximising inventory control and flexibility. You must meet the following requirements to be able to sell between the UK and the EU through Remote Fulfilment:
• Access to UK and EU stores in your Seller Central account
• Have shipping programmes and export settings activated for fulfilment between the EU and the UK, all EU stores must be activated for export (Germany, Italy, France and Spain). If you have more than one account in the EU, each account must be managed separately.

What is Fulfilment by Amazon’s excess inventory management?
The manage excess inventory tool from FBA helps you track listings that have excess inventory and provides you with information to take appropriate action, as well as suggestions for improving inventory performance. It helps you evaluate demand, product costs, seller contributions and price elasticity. It also identifies problems that may be affecting the sales of your product and provides you with options to sell your inventory.
What is the FBA direct sell-through rate?
The FBA direct sell-through rate is the number of units sold and delivered in the last 90 days divided by the average number of units in stock. The average number of units in stock is obtained by taking snapshots of the inventory levels on the specific day in question, as well as 30, 60 and 90 days prior to that day.

What is the FBA stranded inventory percentage?
A listing can be stranded if it wasn't created correctly in the first place or if it's deleted. If this happens, it starts accruing storage fees but is not available for sale because the listing isn't active.
Your performance is measured by the percentage of your FBA inventory units that cannot be purchased on Amazon at this time. This is called the "stranded inventory percentage".

This intelligent optimisation tool helps you predict when you should restock, taking into account the variable costs of your items, expected revenues and future demand. Recommendations allow you to get the best return on your inventory investment by maintaining the right amount of stock.

What is the Fulfilment by Amazon in-stock rate?
The in-stock rate records how successfully you keep popular products in stock.
It only includes FBA products that have been sold in the last 60 days. It does not include unsold products or seller-fulfilled products (i.e. products for which you are responsible for storage, packing and shipping).
In Seller Central, this metric is displayed on the inventory dashboard and is updated daily. An in-stock rate of 90–100% is considered good.

What Fulfilment by Amazon recovery services are available?
Amazon offers programmes to help FBA sellers recover the value of customer returns and excess inventory. With the FBA Grade and Resell service, sellers can recover the value of customer returns that are not suitable for shipping by professionally grading them and reselling them as second-hand items. With the FBA Clearance programme, sellers can sell excess or unsold inventory through Amazon's clearance channels to recover part of the original cost. Enable FBA recovery services in Seller Central
