In 2022, the number of selling partners who joined Strategic Account Services grew by 20%* more than non-managed selling partners in Europe.

The fee table shows the breakdown of the fees for each plan. The fees for both plans have a maximum limit. The Essentials Plan has a limit of €2500 per month, and the Pro Plan has a limit of €5500 per month.

1. What is Strategic Account Services?
Strategic Account Services is a range of account management plans that offer guidance and advice to selling partners through a Marketplace Consultant to grow their business on Amazon. We recently changed the name of our Amazon Selling Partner 360 programme to Strategic Account Services (Pro Plan).
2. What's the difference between the Essentials Plan and the Pro Plan?
Our plans are designed to meet your specific needs. The Essentials Plan is aimed at small and medium-sized businesses looking for standard support through a Marketplace Consultant to guide them on the components of their business on the Amazon website. In the two-monthly business reviews, your Marketplace Consultant will review your business performance and progress on established action points and will inform you about the month's hot topics. In the meantime, your Marketplace Consultant will always be available via email.

The Pro Plan is our largest offer of comprehensive services, with more dedicated assistance provided by a Marketplace Consultant including comprehensive consulting, access to analyses and reports, monthly business reviews and help with international expansion according to your needs. Plus, an expert specialising in problem-solving will help you with operational issues. In the meantime, your Marketplace Consultant will always be available by email or phone.
3. What are the requirements to take part in the plans?
We review each request before accepting it for a Strategic Account Services plan. Among other things, we take into account business maturity and revenues at Amazon. If your application is not approved first time round, you may meet the requirements in the future as you progress through your Amazon journey.
4. Can Strategic Account Services help me if I'm not a brand owner?
Yes, the plans are designed to help both brand owners and distributors with business activities in Amazon stores. Your Marketplace Consultant will help you identify and prioritise strategic initiatives based on your business needs.
5. Does Strategic Account Services cover my accounts in the UK and the European Union?
Yes, our plans offer support through Amazon website consultants to expand and grow in the UK and in stores in the EU.
6. How will I be charged if I sell on more than one website in the UK or in the European Union ?
If you have a unified account, the flat rate component will be charged only once, regardless of the number of EU or UK stores you sell in. If you have separate accounts for each store, you can choose on which accounts you'd like support and you'll be charged for each one separately.
7. Will Strategic Account Services help me grow outside of the UK and the European Union?
Amazon is present in many parts of the world with distributed account management structures to help with sales in relevant countries. If you're in the Pro Plan and meet the eligibility requirements, your Marketplace Consultant will be able to inform you about new opportunities and connect you with teams that will help you expand outside the UK and the EU, in close collaboration with the global sales team. Once the expansion is complete, you'll need to work with account managers and enrol on programmes for local selling partners (where available) in the corresponding geographical area to expand your business. Different rates may apply to participate in programmes for selling partners in other geographical regions. This does not apply to the Essentials Plan.
8. I have more than one seller account. Can I work with a single Marketplace Consultant to help me with all my accounts?
Selling partners must enrol each account separately on a Strategic Account Services plan. Depending on the Amazon Marketplace Consultant's capacity, you may or may not be able to work with just one on all of your accounts. We'll work closely with you to determine the best way to manage each one.
9. I'm already working with several account managers at Amazon. Why do I have to pay for this service?
By joining one of our Strategic Account Services, your Marketplace Consultant will advise you on specific topics based on your needs. 1) You will work together on your strategy for as long as necessary (there are no limits in that regard), 2) you will receive support on more than one particular programme or function, 3) you will receive proactive contributions if there are growth opportunities for your account (marketing, catalogue optimisation, price configuration and brand tools for example), 4) you will be able to access comprehensive analyses and reports (unlimited only in the Pro Plan) and 5) you will be kept up to date on the latest pilot programmes and beta versions (only on the Pro Plan). Plus, as part of the Pro Plan, you will also work with an expert specialised in problem-solving who will support you with operational issues as well as with a Marketplace Consultant who will help you with strategic issues.
10. Does Strategic Account Services help Amazon sellers' businesses grow?

11. I'm having problems with my Amazon account. Can I get help before I sign up?
You can use your access to support for selling partners regardless of whether or not you are enrolled, so we encourage you to use this service if you need it. Once you've signed up for one of the plans, you'll have access to a Marketplace Consultant who will help you grow. Specifically, the Pro Plan also includes a premium service with a specialised problem-solving expert who will help you with specific operational issues (see FAQ 12 for more information).
12. If I sign up for one of the Strategic Account Services, will I receive different or preferential treatment with regard to Amazon policies?
No. Amazon's policies are the same for all selling partners and apply equally, regardless of whether or not you're enrolled on our plans. All selling partners have access to the selling partner support service and receive the same help, regardless of whether or not they are enrolled on one of the Strategic Account Services plans.
13. Can I change programmes to receive different levels of support?
We'll recommend the most suitable plan based on your needs. If you've signed up for a plan but need more assistance or want to work on more action points than those offered in your current plan, we may suggest that you switch to another plan if it's appropriate. Contact your Marketplace Consultant if you have any questions.
14. What will my first month on the Essentials Plan be like?
On the Essentials Plan, your Marketplace Consultant will contact you to schedule an introductory call and a business launch meeting, where you'll establish your main growth area. We will then advise you in this area through training sessions and by sharing analytical reports with you to provide you with strategic recommendations for your account and specific action points. We'll work together at all times to improve your performance at Amazon and we'll review your progress in our business reviews every two months. In the meantime, your Marketplace Consultant will always be available via email.
15. What will my first month on the Pro Plan be like?
On the Pro Plan, your Marketplace Consultant will call you to set up a welcome meeting with you. At this meeting, you'll get to know each other and you'll also get in touch with our expert who specialises in problem-solving. You'll receive a welcome pack with the most relevant information, webinars, and programme guidelines. During your second week, we'll assess the performance of your Amazon account and establish priority areas for the coming months. Then, we'll delve deeper into these areas with you, providing you with analytical reports and strategic recommendations for your account with concrete action points. We'll work together at all times to improve your performance at Amazon and we'll review your progress in our monthly business reviews. In the meantime, your Marketplace Consultant will always be available by email or phone.

16. Can my Marketplace Consultant help me solve existing operational problems in both plans?
The goal of your Marketplace Consultant is to provide you with strategic advice, not to deal with operational issues. If you sign up for the Pro Plan, you'll receive assistance from an expert specialised in operational problem-solving, in addition to your Marketplace Consultant.
17. Does the Marketplace Consultant provide support on our Vendor Central account?
No, the plan only covers the seller account.
18. Are the consultants on the Amazon website Amazon employees?
Yes, all the consultants on the Amazon website are Amazon employees.
19. What training do Amazon website consultants receive to support sellers in Strategic Account Services?
All of our Amazon website consultants receive extensive training and have access to internal teams of experts to best assist selling partners enrolled on Strategic Account Services with topics such as logistics and inventory management, conversion growth, selection, merchandising, advertising, and much more. In addition, our Amazon website consultants will delve deeper into your account to find the strategy that best suits your specific business needs.
20. How do I choose the Marketplace Consultant assigned to me?
As a business partner, you can't choose your Marketplace Consultant. However, our consultants on the Amazon website will be assigned to business partners once their portfolios have been reviewed. We ensure that all Marketplace Consultants receive the same training and that their portfolio of selling partners is not too full to ensure that they can consistently provide an excellent service.
21. Will our Marketplace Consultant stay with us throughout the entire time we use the plan?
We can't guarantee that your Marketplace Consultant won't change, but our goal is to ensure that selling partners have continuity with their Marketplace Consultant whenever possible.
22. What happens if I'm not satisfied with the service level?
The satisfaction of our selling partners is our main goal. You will receive a quarterly satisfaction survey in which you can express any concerns you may have. Plan managers look at these results closely to ensure that the service we provide is of the highest quality. You can also request a call with a manager at any time to discuss any problems in more detail and explore how they can be solved.
23. Can I meet my Marketplace Consultant in person?
If you and your Marketplace Consultant agree, you can organise an in-person meeting to review your business plans and agree on actions for the coming months (for example, in one of our offices).
Promotions and merchandising and programme opportunities
24. What type of marketing assistance (promotions) will we receive?
Your Marketplace Consultant can advise you on available Amazon deals, such as vouchers, flash deals, Top Deals, Today's Deals and other deals. Just because you sign up for Strategic Account Services doesn't mean you're going to benefit from deals, as fees can remain applicable. You won't get free or discounted promotions for signing up for Strategic Account Services.
25. Can my Marketplace Consultant help me set up deals?
Yes, your Marketplace Consultant can explain the different types of deals available and how to set them up. In some cases, depending on the requirements, your Marketplace Consultant can set up a deal for you. They can also help you develop a deal strategy, in line with your business objectives, and provide you strategic guidance, which can help your deal get approved.
26. What information do the reports shared with me provide?
Depending on your needs, we offer several personalised analyses and reports in the Essentials plan and the Pro plan. These reports cover catalogue optimisation, product selection and expansion, advertising and promotions, compliance, brand management and sustainability.
Plan fees and commitment
27. When will I be billed?
You will be billed in the first five calendar days of the month. Your monthly fees are calculated based on your monthly bill for the previous month (monthly gross sales per month in the previous calendar month) in the Amazon stores in the UK and Europe. Monthly rates do not include applicable taxes and are non-refundable.
28. How are my fees paid?
Fees are paid through your account balance. If your account balance is insufficient to cover the monthly bill, the rest of the fee will be charged to the credit card you register with us.
29. Can I pay less to access fewer services?
The two Strategic Account Services are closed packages and the services included can't be separated at this time.
30. For how long must I commit to stat on the plan?
We require selling partners to commit to Strategic Account Services for a minimum of six months. You can leave the service after six months by giving at least 30 days' notice. Amazon reserves the right to end the service at any time. There is no maximum duration of commitment.
