Dual Inbounding and Remote Fulfilment

Amazon offers two solutions to help you sell across the EU and UK borders seamlessly: Remote Fulfilment and Dual Inbounding

Dual Inbounding

Remote Fulfilment

Dual Inbounding allows you to ship your inventory to both your primary (e.g. EU) and secondary (e.g. UK) Amazon Fulfilment network. This way, you'll be able to store inventory locally in both regions, benefit from local fulfilment fees and offer the fastest possible delivery to customers across the EU and UK marketplaces. Our all-in-one solutions for brokerage, transportation and indirect representation make this process easy.
Thanks to Remote Fulfilment, you can sell across the EU and UK customs borders without having to store inventory in the location of the destination marketplace or register for VAT there. You simply send your Amazon Fulfilment inventory to your local fulfilment centres and Amazon will be responsible for collecting and remitting VAT when handling cross-border orders on your behalf.

FAQs:

How can I estimate the revenue and costs for cross-border selling?
Use the FBA Revenue Calculator to input your product details and shipping costs. It will provide a cost comparison between standard FBA, Remote Fulfilment between the EU and the UK and the Pan-EU FBA programme, accounting for differences in fees and cross-border shipping.
What compliance requirements do I need to be aware of?
Before adding products, ensure that they comply with the product safety and compliance policies, environmental regulations and Amazon’s policies. This includes providing the necessary compliance documentation.
While Dual Inbounding, how do I manage cross-border brokerage and transportation?
Amazon's Customs Clearance and Shipping Services provide an all-in-one solution for the brokerage, indirect representation and transportation services required to send cross-border shipments. This allows you to easily expand your reach to millions of new customers across the border.
How can I ship products from China?
With Amazon Global Logistics, you can ship ocean cargo from China directly to the Amazon fulfilment network in the US, UK and EU.
What countries can I sell to using Remote Fulfilment?
You will be able to sell products between the United Kingdom and Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands and Sweden.
How do returns work in Remote Fulfilment?
Remote Fulfilment customer returns are handled the same way as local FBA returns. If a customer returns an imported product, we will send it back to your source fulfilment centre in the EU or the United Kingdom, subject to the customer return policy and fees.
How does the Build International Listings tool help with cross-border selling?
The Build International Listings tool allows you to synchronise offer prices and create and translate offers from a single source store to one or more target stores. This makes it easy to replicate your listings in other Amazon stores and manage your offers in one marketplace.
How does the European Expansion Accelerator support the Remote Fulfilment programme?
The European Expansion Accelerator (EEA) is an automated end-to-end expansion solution that enrols your products in fulfilment programmes, translates and creates your listings, and sets pricing and shipping settings for the stores you select.
For expansion between stores in the EU and the UK and vice versa, the EEA will automatically enrol your account into Remote Fulfilment programme between the EU and the UK, enable export setting configuration, identify your products that are eligible for the programme and create detail pages for these products to make purchasable.
