What are Amazon's Customs Clearance and Shipping services for cross-border shipments?

We offer shipping solutions for pallets and small packages for shipments between the UK and the EU.

These solutions provide the same services as a third-party service provider, in addition to cross-border freight shipping. Our trusted partners Deloitte and AVASK act as fully integrated customs partners to help mitigate any difficulties post-Brexit.

There are two solutions:

1. ATS Deloitte
Register for Deloitte brokerage services. Ship small packages from your warehouse to a national Amazon sorting centre and Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) will transport the goods across the customs border on your behalf for free.

2. ATS AVASK
Register for AVASK brokerage services. Ship small packages from your warehouse to a national Amazon sorting centre and Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) will transport the goods across the customs border on your behalf for free.

3. UPS AVASK
Register for AVASK brokerage services. Ship small packages with UPS from your domestic, UK-EU cross-border warehouse to an Amazon FBA fulfilment centre and enjoy lower fees for partnered carriers for all shipments.

4. UPS SCS AVASK
Register for AVASK brokerage services. Ship pallets with UPS SCS from your domestic, UK-EU cross-border warehouse to an Amazon FBA fulfilment centre and enjoy discounted fees for partnered carriers for all shipments.

Amazon's Customs Clearance and Shipping services simplify the process of shipping stock across the UK-EU customs border and give you the opportunity to increase your reach to millions of new customers.

• For selling partners in the EU: the Amazon UK store allows you to reach an entirely new range of potential Prime customers.
• For selling partners in the UK: you can access eight new Amazon stores and benefit from reduced shipping fees by selling under the Pan-European Fulfilment by Amazon programme. By shipping to France or Germany, you will also be able to start selling in Italy, Spain, Poland, Sweden and Belgium, thus expanding your customer base.

How it works

Step 1

Complete the onboarding with your preferred customs brokerage service provider: Register with your preferred agent.

Step 2

Create your shipment in the Send to Amazon workflow, provide customs details and book your shipment collection. You'll receive confirmation that the shipping documentation has been approved.

Step 3

The goods will be shipped to the fulfilment centre across the border.
