Attract customer interest with attractive offers
Establish faster and more accurate delivery times
Amazon provides the estimated delivery time to buyers on the offer listing and payment pages. This is the estimated time between the time the buyer places the order and the date of delivery of the order. Displaying fast and accurate delivery estimates helps ensure a good customer experience and can improve sales.
Total delivery time = handling time + transit time (+ public holidays)
The handling time is the time that elapses between the time the buyer places the order and the time you deliver the order to the delivery service. You have three main options for setting your handling time.
- Default handling time: this is set at the account level and will apply to all your products by default, unless you change it. Using Automated Handling Time to adjust handling time based on historical shipping performance.
- Product level handling time: set for specific SKU/ASINs.
- Automated Handling Time: simply enable Automated Handling Time and the system will automatically set the appropriate handling times for each of your products.
Shipping Settings Automation
Shipping Settings Automation can help you quickly create shipping templates with multiple delivery regions and transit times applicable to each delivery region. Amazon will dynamically calculate the transit time from your shipping location to the customer's location by applying the applicable transit time of the shipping service used by the carrier.
For all orders shipped with a shipping template where SSA is active, negative customer feedback will be removed if:

- You used one of the shipping methods specified in the shipping template.
- You made the shipment on time

Offer free shipping
Customers are more likely to buy products that include free shipping. In fact, free shipping can increase your sales by up to 12.4%*. You'll have a better chance of winning the Featured Offer when you offer free shipping.
*Average based on a 2020 study on the increase in sales of offers with free shipping compared to identical offers with paid shipping, but with the same total price (item price + shipping costs). Additional benefits derived from a lower total price are excluded. The study included markets in the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy and Spain. The specific increase in ASIN may vary.
Ensure best order processing practices to satisfy customers
Add valid tracking codes to your orders
Tracking codes allow customers to know where their orders are located and when they can expect to receive them.
Providing a valid tracking code for your orders can help you reduce contact with buyers and lost shipments. Adding tracking information to your self-fulfilled orders can also help you improve your Valid Tracking Rate.
