Unbranded packaging

Orders are shipped in unbranded packaging, which does not contain any Amazon brands.*

* Unbranded packaging will be available for eligible, classifiable inventory, which does not include clothing, footwear or products no larger than 45.72 x 35.56 x 20.32 cm and/or no heavier than 9 kg.

How Multi-Channel Fulfilment works

Ship all or some of your inventory directly to an Amazon fulfilment centre. When customers purchase products on your website or another third-party sales channel, we receive your orders and pick, pack and ship them directly.

MCF is available with Amazon Fulfilment. If you use Fulfilment by Amazon to sell on Amazon, your existing inventory will be used for both Amazon customers and customers from your other sales channels.

Getting started

If you have inventory in an Amazon fulfilment centre, you can use any of the below methods without having to register again. MCF offers three simple solutions:

Step 1

Quick order creation

This feature allows you to create fulfilment orders one at a time using a simple tool in Seller Central.

Sellers who want to explore the benefits of Multi-Channel Fulfilment
Sellers with lower order volumes

The Multi-Channel Fulfilment order creation page can be accessed in two different ways:

In Seller Central:

In the top navigation bar on Seller Central, select the "Inventory" drop-down menu
Select the products for which you want to create a fulfilment order
From the top action menu, select "Create fulfilment order"

Both of the above options will take you to the Multi-Channel Fulfilment order creation page. There, you just need to provide your customer's delivery address, indicate the products to be fulfilled and select the delivery speed to quickly place an order.

Step 2

Bulk order creation

This feature allows you to create multiple fulfilment orders at once using a standard order entry Excel spreadsheet, which you can then upload to the bulk order creation page.

Ideal for:

Sellers with high order volumes who do not want API integration
Sellers with customers who have recurring orders or subscriptions

In the Multi-Channel Fulfilment order creation page, you can access the bulk order upload feature by clicking on the "Upload flat file" button in the top right-hand corner of the page

Note: The system will flag errors for orders submitted in the file. Orders that are free from issues will be created. Orders that contain errors must be resubmitted with the errors corrected.

Step 3

API integration

Multi-Channel Fulfilment offers a robust set of APIs that allow you to connect your sales channels directly to the Fulfilment by Amazon channel. Thanks to API integration, no manual effort is required to create Multi-Channel Fulfilment orders. Fulfilment orders are created automatically when your customers place orders on your sales channel outside of Amazon.

Ideal for:

Sellers with a high volume of orders where creating orders manually would be too cumbersome
Sellers who sell on a wide range of marketplaces

Multi-channel listing software can seamlessly connect your different sales channels to Multi-Channel Fulfilment. This is a good option if you sell on multiple marketplaces, in addition to your own store, and you want to manage product listing and fulfilment from a single location. Please note that, due to Brexit, from 1 January 2021, Amazon will not be able to fulfil Fulfilment by Amazon orders across the border between the UK and the EU.
